I love the old Mediterranean style houses; they all look individually sculptured and were built to last and withstand the elements. Painted white to reflect the suns heat and with thick walls which act as a natural insulator eradicating the use of heating/cooling devices.
It must suck when your neighbour repaints or renovates their house. But in my opinion the rustic one with the older paint job looks a lot more like home ! ! !
