HAMBURG . . . GERMANY

So back in June i was on my way to the 2er D.I.Y Builders jam and my cheapest option to get there was to fly into Hamburg and take the bus down. Id passed by the Northern city of Germany twice before by bus and always wanted to check it out. When I was about to leave the hostel a lady working there told me it was going to rain all day and it would be foolish to take my board out. Taking her advice I ventured through the streets to spend a day giving my new Cannon 6Od a good workout.

DAY OF THE SVEN KILCHENMANN . . . Zurich . . . Swiss

Sven came over to the house the night before for the little Gypsy Life Switzerland premiere and said he would take me under his wing for my last day and show me around town as all the other homies were working. We had an incredible skate on the mini ramp, I suggested line after line for sven to try and he would do each one within 3 shots, the swiss machine has some serious boards control! Switch flip nosegrinds first shot . . . we then headed to a slappy curb and slappied away until the rain set in. We then decided to have some beers and ended my last night in swiss were it alla began at the new beauty D.I.Y spot inside a big squat house on the outskirts of Zurich. Safe to say we filmed a whole part for Gypsy Life 2 in 1 day . . . BEAST! Hope your well buddy!

BASEL . . . SWITZERLAND . . .

Basel was riddeled with spots! We enjoyed the sunday afternoon pushing around and on every second corner was something incredible to skate. Spooooooofs and water fountains for days! thanks to the legendary Stephan Willi for driving us up there!!!

BLACK CROSS BOWL . . . BASEL . . . SWITZERLAND

We decided to have a chill night Saturday and boost it upto Basel early Sunday morning to pay a visit to the legendary now deceased Black Cross Bowl. Made by Locals with the help of Pontus Alv back in 2öö7 I think. Since the begining of this trip I always wished to make it up to the north of Swiss to visit this beast, when we made it there i felt like some kind of skate rat pilgrim, incredible place! 

SWISS . . . Mountain Park

We bombed around town the night before and ended up at some free gig were we all got rich. If u returned your plastic cup after drinking your beer the bar would give you 2 swiss francs which is close to 2 euros i think. People just left the cups around all over the place and i think i ended up with around 6ö francs. The following morning i thought it would be a nice gesture to share my winnings among my hosts, so i went and bought food and made a big breakfast for the crew. We then met up with Mirco who got his hands on his mums wheels and we headed out to the mountains to skate some parks and bbq it up on a sunny spring afternoon. 

ZURICH . . . SWITZERLAND

We started the day at this epic spot and then just dodged the rain all afternoon hitting a few undercover spots. In the arvo we went to check out the oldest D.I.Y spot in Zurich once again made by the September Wheels guys. Once again it started raining, luckily we were close to an indoor mini ramp inside this incredible squat. D.I.Y houses and all . . . Living the dream!!!

Sorry the updates havent been so frequent. Ive been basically traveling since may and left my computer at home... ill try and get more updates up in the next weeks, for the meantime we are in Serbia traveling through the Balkans and checking out the trumpet festival in Guca tonight,wish us luck!
