10,000 KILOMETERS by PATRIK WALLNER

i cant believe these guys still had legs to skate with. they were on the last leg of there epic transsibierian railway trip. i think they were deep into there 7th week at this stage. to sum it up 10 of them met in moscow russia to film for a new patrik wallner documentary. they started in (RUSSIA) moscow-yekaterinburg-omsk-krasnoyarsk-irkutsk- (MONGOLIA) - ulaanbaatar- (CHINA)- bejing-xian-shanghai-shenzhen-hong kong by train! . officially the longest skate trip of all time.
it was amazing to be on the last leg with these guys. all of them had to work there asses of to save, as no sponsors helped out with there travels. pure doing it for there love of travelling and skateboarding. im really looking forward to the documentary!!! should be available early 2010. ill keep you posted with how to get copies.

sunya, searching for the marble halfpipe on bikes . . .

we hired a bunch of bjkes and winged around looking for spots. literaly the second after john and i hired ours the rain came down in bucket loads. we had to take revuge under someones front porch. then a little old man opened the front door and insisted we come in and chill. very nice man.
the day before we hired bikes john i took a moto bike taxi to the beach. it was struggling hard along the way. when we arrieved some other moto bike taxis across the street were screaming out to us as we were rumbling for moneys to pay the driver. then our driver bailed on us yelling and we realized the fucking bike was on fire. so we bolted away. and the driver snatched my bottle of water and put the flame out. it was hectic!

sunya, paradise in china . . .

the day after erics wedding, 5 drunken souls caught an 18 hour train to the most southern tip of china. my train sleeper carriage virginity was taken away! we went to a place called sunya. it was so so so dope. amazing paradise. water temperature perfect. when we caught the sleeper train kenny got stuck sharing his carriage with a whole extended asian family!! kids crying, playing with annoying toys, spilling drinks etc etc etc.
we ended up finding some very cool looking spots! although the extreme humidity made it neally impossible to skate! as always lawrence held it down and bombed some proper clips!

erics wedding reception party....

if the wedding wasnt already amazing enough. the after party blew shit outttt!!! that dog that was drinking the alcohol gave me the laughing attack of 2009.

god this wedding was truly amazing!!! 45 mins before having to leave for it kenny and i still didnt have anything to wear. so we went on a quick dash around down ... some bardering and done. looking good.
luckily lawrence had our back and bought the red envolopes that we had to put money in. presents are not given at a chinese money. straight cash donation.
we took the cab to were we thought the wedding was and followed the signs to the wedding. but somhow ended up at the wrong one!!! hahaaha the people at the one we were about to crash were even more confused then we were. eventually we found the spot and were force fed beers-wine on arrival. the ceremony was very very very nice.
eric shows all the big name pros around so half way throuhg the wedding there was a bunch of video messages from all the big names pros. good to see jakey duncombe was ll up in that message pool!
all in all an amazing wedding! the lobster was off the hook. the chicken head was fun to play with. the alochol was amazing and pletiful!!! and the crew was off the hook.
