AUSTRALIA . . . DECEMBER

So as i mentioned in the previous blog i was fortunate to celebrate Getrads birthday with him and his family. Every year it is celebrated at Teds house, one of the nicest, humble, generous, well travelled men ive met. Name a place and he has been there from Papua New Guinea, Morocco to deep down in Patagonia, the man has seen it all folks.
When we made the citizen arrest on the man masturbating at school girls we had to give one of the policemen a ride back to the station. I had to remind him to put his seat belt on as we were taking off, George asked him if he was allowed to turn around over the double lines and he said 'Yeah mate go ahead, you should see the shit i get upto'. hahahahahaha. He was a real nice guy and was even down to pose for a portrait. Some Polish Cheery Vodka is always standard when i drop over to see my old pop, we had a few and i said goodbye to Sydney town until Christmas.
Up on the Mid North Coast at my dads house, my brother saved a little ring tailed possum from work, he was getting attacked by some birds. We nursed him for a night and then took him to the wild life experts to take care of him as he needed a special blend of milk to survive.
One of dads birds also had a horrible tuma in his throat, he lived in the house like a king, being handfed strawberries until he sadly passed away.
Dad and 10 of his other friends just bought a huge chunk of land, one Sunday afternoon we decided to go deep out there exploring it with his old 4wd. He sure gave it a run for its money, thrashing it through some puddle sections that were over half a meter deep that went on for 20-30 meters. "Troy you think i can make it?" "Ummmm yeah, it'll work out' . . .

SYDNEY . . . NOVEMBER 2012

Well back in Sydney the weather was not all that crash hot at the end of November and the summer would end up to be a rather mild one. On the first day back i went out for lunch with my mum and grandfather and these birds were tearing the Australian flag to pieces!!!
Catching up with friends was good times, and being back to celebrate Getrads birthday with him was a big treat as its now become an annual tradition that i go with him and his family for lunch! Thanks again to the Getrads for the good times! After lunch i took Getrad 10 pin bowling and  we completely sucked!
I met up with good homies George and Ook to go skate this new Jersey Barrier skatepark, when we arrived at the skatepark i spotted a guy standing behind a bus shelter masturbating while looking at 2 young school girls. In confronted the frail man who was as shocked to see us as we to see him, George asked the girls if they saw what he was doing and they said he is there everyday so George called the po po. Turns out the man is married with children and was caught for a similar offense 1. 5 years earlier. He tried to escape us at one stage but Ook got ka-ra-taaaay on all over his ass and broke a little stone off his magical star-mang ring.
I had one more visit to my old pops, cooked a big ass paella for the family and it was adios to Sydney and northward bound to see my father and the family on the mid north coast of New South Wales.

LAST DAYS IN EUROPE.

Well im only about 4 months behind with my blogs, put it down to pure laziness and to many good times in Australia. Been back down here since the end of November to visit family and friends. Anyways these photos were from my last weekend in Europe, firstly in Barcelona. it was Chays dads 60th birthday and we had a feast and celebration up in the mountains with the family which was amazing.

On my way to the airport for my early flight i ran into Matzi who was bringing an unlucky girl home. i also ran into Bruno and Marco about 50 meters up the street, and it hit me that this place is now more home then home for me.

I had a night stop over in London and was blessed to spend 24 hours with Palmy, we stacked it correctly for breakfast on the day of my flight. As u have seen on the blog i was only in this exact house 1 month earlier and the harsh weather has already hit hard, at this point i was returning home without looking back as winter (and what turned out to be a very cold one) was about to hit hard!

AUTUMN GALICIA

After the night in the monastery we went deep into the mountains and found some amazing scenery, we also found hell on earth, Sober town. Autumn is hands down my favorite season of the year, the foliage contrasts were incredible, we even collected an endless supply of chestnuts to cook up at home.
The last couple photos are from my last day in Galicia, the one park is 6 kilometers from my house and i skate there and home every day. It has been sort of fun living in a city that hasnt got the best spots as u really have to enjoy what u got. All the skaters i met in Galicia are super motivated and really friendly, looking forward to getting back to Eiris in a few weeks!
