Over the course of the festival some 600,000 people make their way to the town of 2000 and basically get completely drunk, eat spit roasted meats, camp out, and dance until they pass out. Gypsy brass musicians migrate from all over Europe annually to celebrate the trumpet and battle it out to see who is the best of the Balkans. For these men this is a way of life, they play all day everyday, handing down skills and knowledge from generation to generation. After these extremely talented world class musicians perform on the main stage to thousands of people they are not escorted away by their security and into the limousine, rather they climb down off stage and make their way through the streets of Guca playing until they pass out. Everyone sleeping on the streets, or camping out on local farmers pastural land.
