After an incredible half day spent walking through the Plitvice National park we headed for the coast in search of good times and a suitable place to camp and celebrate the birthday of Alex Pasch. As we weaved through the little villages the scars of the Yugoslav war were apparent; bullet holes scaring many buildings, not even the smallest of countryside cottages spared. We stopped at a supermarket and stocked up on alcohol, food supplies, sampled a coco-loco stole some fire wood and followed the road up and over the mountains to our destination, the Adriatic sea. Vibes were high as the sun was setting and we scouted a perfect spot wedged between some rocks to celebrate Alexs birthday with the help of some Gin.
